- Precision Machining: Journals and bearing seats manufactured or restored to print for accurate fit and proper coil contact.
- Journal & Shaft Services: Shaft replacement, weld repairs, and press-fit operations extend core life.
- Dynamic Balancing: Rolls balanced after machining and recovering for vibration-free rotation.
- Complete Assemblies: Snubber rolls can be supplied fully assembled with shafts, bearings, and couplings.
Urethane Covering
The urethane covering provides both traction and protection, ensuring strip stability without surface damage.
- Durometer Range: Custom polyurethane hardness, typically 85–95 Shore A for grip and durability.
- Surface Finish: Smooth ground for non-marking contact; rough-ground textures available for grip on oily surfaces.
- Grooved Options: Diamond, helix, herringbone, spiral, chevron, checkerboard razor slots, and crepe profiles to enhance traction and oil shedding.
- Performance Properties: Excellent abrasion resistance, impact absorption, and non-marring contact under repeated coil starts and stops.
- Bonding & Cure: Covers applied with grit-blasted cores, primer adhesives, and heat curing for strong adhesion.
