Urethane Covering
The urethane interface provides traction and cushioning, ensuring strip alignment without surface damage.
- Durometer Range: Custom polyurethane hardness, typically 85–95 Shore A for a balance of traction, wear resistance, and stability.
- Surface Finish: Smooth ground for non-marking surfaces; rough-ground finishes available for added grip in oily or wet conditions.
- Grooved Options: Diamond, helix, herringbone, spiral, chevron, checkerboard razor slots, and crepe profiles for traction control and fluid shedding.
- Performance Properties: High abrasion resistance, impact absorption, and non-marring contact under continuous strip engagement.
- Bonding & Cure: Grit-blasted cores, primer adhesives, and heat-cured polyurethane ensure strong adhesion and delamination resistance.
